WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
BIO
Fill in our form if you have any questions
What does it mean for a plastic to be biodegradable?
It means it has got the ability to lose mass or disintegrate in time, thus being useful as an energy source for microorganisms, fungi and bacteria.
What are your products made of?
We mix renewable and fossil raw materials in variable ratios, according to the type of packaging. We have more than 27 formulas or chemical recipes we apply on our bioproducts, ensuring that the maximum biodegradation period is an average of 20 months.
If your packaging biodegrades in a maximum of 20 months, does that mean they will only last that long?
No. Our packaging respects the shelf life of the product it contains. The biodegradation process is only activated under four conditions and when in contact with fungi and microorganisms.
Do your products generate toxic residues?
Do your products generate microplastics?
Are your products recyclable?
BioElements products can be organically recycled through compost, and mechanically at plants with an air-based cooling system instead, not water-based.
Where are your products made?
We have a network of more than 23 affiliated plants located in Brazil, Chile, Colombi, Mexico and Peru. Our bioproducts can be manufactured at a traditional plastic factory by adjusting the parameters of the machines.
Do you sell retail?
Customized products are sold over 500 kilos. You can find retail options in our marketplace in Mercado Libre and Falabella.
