OUR
TECHNOLOGY
What is
biodegradation, biobased and compost
Biodegradation is the ability of a material to serve as a source of energy and food for fungi and other microorganisms thus losing its mass.
Biobased refers to any material or product that originates wholly or partially from biomass.
Compostable materials possess the capability to biodegrade under controlled composting conditions, with the presence of oxygen and high temperatures, ultimately converting into natural fertilizer. Products may receive certification for either home or industrial composting, contingent upon the specific technical requirements for composting.

Our BioE formulations
We create more than 27 formulations customized to fulfill our clients’ needs and comply with the regulations of the countries in which we operate. Our range includes:
- Biodegradable and compostable products with different percentages of bio-based content.
- Products made with up to 100% bio-based content.
Race to Zero
We signed the “Race to Zero” commitment supported by the UN, which aims for industries to take action to halve carbon dioxide emissions by 2030.

Enviromental conditions
for Biodegradation
Depending on the product and formulation used, our materials can biodegrade up to four different enviromental conditions.
